• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Permissions Resetting

Hello,

We have a number of domains, that we have set specific permissions on via File Manager (for the IWPD user) and whenever we go to web hosting settings / upgrade Plesk it resets all the permissions.

How can we stop this happening and force Plesk to keep the correct permissions.

Regards,

Jacob

Hi can you elaborate "settings / upgrade Plesk it resets all the permissions." I did not get ?/upgrade".

As you have mentioned many domains which are having this problem .security file can not be issue for many domains exception can occur though where .security file does not get updated. You change permission for one domain which is having issue and revert back and then see if .security file has changed or not.
