Hello All ,

How can i install php 4.2.3 in a Fedora Core release 6 ( Zod ) 64 bit operating system .The present version

of php is PHP 5.1.6 .

Had searched all over the web for an Rpm of php 4.2.3 didnt get it .Then now on to compiling .Will this work ???

Kindly help ....Thanks for your time

I wouldnt recomend going backwards to 4.x if your distro is using 5.x

Plus 5 is "better and more secure" (as if anything can really be). But if you must, you need to go download the sources, then create a SPEC file, and then use rpmbuild to build against the sources and spec.

Those arent really Plesk related topics, so you will need to search google for specifics on how to do those things.
