• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PHP as FastCGI doesn't work with suexec

New Pleskian
Hi guys,

we have updated our Plesk 10.4.4 to 12.0.18. We want to use PHP with FastCGI (Apache) and get always the following suexec - error:
command cgi_wrapper not in docroot (10004)

We use CentOS 6.4

How can we fix this suexec problem?

Best
Falk

First of all make sure that you have the same permissions:

# stat /usr/sbin/suexec
File: `/usr/sbin/suexec'
Size: 18580 Blocks: 40 IO Block: 4096 regular file
Device: 19h/25d Inode: 35205087 Links: 1
Access: (4510/-r-s--x---) Uid: ( 0/ root) Gid: ( 48/ apache)

The permissions seems to match but the size differs:

# stat /usr/sbin/suexec
File: `/usr/sbin/suexec'
Size: 24080 Blocks: 48 IO Block: 4096 regular file
Device: fd00h/64768d Inode: 403893 Links: 1
Access: (4510/-r-s--x---) Uid: ( 0/ root) Gid: ( 503/ apache)
