  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PHP settings for domain ignored

Cruiser1

New Pleskian
Hello,
I used to set custom PHP settings for some of my domains using Plesk Panel. For example the post_max_size is by default 8M, for some of my domains I did set it to 40M.
At the moment, the settings for PHP I do set inside plesk are ignored. All domains are loading the default PHP.ini with the default settings (8M).
The location of the php.ini loaded is C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\PleskPHP55\php.ini
I'm not sure if it should be different if Plesk does modify it for a domain.

I can change the values inside the Plesk Panel and I can save it (green bar, success, values are correctly inserted in Plesk if I reopen the settings) but it has no effect for the website.

Any ideas where this is coming from? Windows Server 2012 R2 running with Plesk 12 (latest).

Thanks for any support!

Tried restarting IIS or restarting the server? Normally those custom changes doesn't take effect until after IIS has been restarted.

Hello,
yes I restarted IIS and the entire server. The custom PHP settings used to work and I did not modify them for some domains but they simply stopped working.
