• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I just upgraded to 8.1. I had the understanding that I would be able to choose per domain php4 or php5. However when i click on the php menu option i'm only presented with php4. Anyone have any ideas?

When I first did the upgrade the PHP Settings only showed 4.4.3, so I had to go to the Control Panel, Add and remove programs and "CHANGE" the Plesk installation, I selected the option to Modify and added PHP 5, which is under Script Engines.

For some reason it didn't get installed during the upgrade.

i figured that out after I posted it. seems kind of jankity to me. thanks for replying though, sometimes it's hard to get responses in these types of forums.

i think the problem with this type of site, is the only people that look at the forums are the people that have problems. I have found business objects website to be similar. I did see one developer that posted on some of the threads, that is at least a step above business objects.
