  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Phpmyadmin avoid asking password from Plesk Panel

Fabrizio

New Pleskian
Hi,

on a fresh new server (CentOS 7.4.1708 (Core)) with Plesk Web Host (17.5.3 #45) when I log in to Plesk Panel as administrator, going to a subscription and trying to open a database through phpMyAdmin, I am asked for database password every time. On my other and older server (but with same versions of OS and Plesk) I can access to databases without typing specifica passwords every time. I don't how to disable this annoyng and frustrating option.

Thank you

Well it should work as you belive when you are logged in as administrator,

maybe not the answer what you are looking for but as workaround what about going that way: Plesk Panel > Tools & Settings > Database Servers > click the Toolset Symbol - are you also asked for credentials?
perhaps the "repair comand -plesk repair db" will fix your issue...

Hi Brujo and thanks for the reply.
Through Plesk Panel > Tools & Settings > Database Servers I can access without being asked for any credentians (as it should be).
