hi there,

ive never run any commands before, i always use the plesk admin panel.
but now im trying to install silvertsripe CMS and getting an error message:

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect.

so after some research on Google i found some forums talkign about making changes via the command function.
can someone please walk me through it? i have no idea how to do any of this...

heres the forums im looking at:

Contact support team if you are not familiar with command line and haven't unix admins.

thanks.
this is going to sound really stupid...but how do i do that?
every time i try and look for support it ends up looking impossible.
plesk support seems to not be free?

and the support from fasthosts who i rent my server from is useless.
