• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 11.5.30 Update #47 - Mail forwarding

futureweb

Regular Pleskian
Hey there,

we got some weird issues with Mail-Forwards.

I got several Domains in 1 Subscription:
a.com
b.com

I have Mailbox for a@a.com with 1GB.
When I create b@b.com - no Mailbox - Forward to a@a.com - it won't accept Mails ...

I have to create at least 1 Mailbox for b.com to accept Mails ... ?

Any idea what's the Problem here? (as I don't want to have Mailboxes for every Domain I just forward ...)

Thank you
Andreas Schnederle-Wagner

alright - I guess I found the source of the Problem ... looks like a little, nasty Bug! ;-)

How to reproduce:
- create Domain a.com in cust1
- create Domain b.com in cust1
- create Mailbox 1@a.com
- create Mailbox 1@b.com with 1KB size
- disable Mailbox for 1@b.com and make it forward to 1@a.com

Now when you send to 1@b.com (which has NO mailbox) - the Server will deny all Mails with this Error in the Logs:
Jun 24 10:48:38 kdn7 postfix/cleanup[12934]: CAF75C0FD6A: milter-reject: END-OF-MESSAGE from eu1sys200amx134.postini.com[207.126.144.223]: 4.2.2 Mailbox full; from=<schnederle@futureweb.at> to=<1@b.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<psmtp.com>

Seems like the Mailbox is not deleted when you disable it?! Or something like this?!?

@Parallels: Got some Feedback on this? ;-)

Thank you
Andreas Schnederle-Wagner
