Plesk 12.5 - PHP 5.3.3 by OS Vendor

Hello,

On one of our server, we have Plesk 12.5 licence with PHP 5.3.3 by OS Vendor.
In the Plesk Installer (Add/Remove Components > Web hosting features > Different PHP interpreters versions), we don't have PHP version 6, only PHP 5.3.3 by OS Vendor.

How can we update PHP or installed differentversion?

We don't have this problem with our others Plesk installations.

you could still use the Plesk autoinstaller to install additional components:

plesk sbin autoinstaller --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --show-components --show-options

plesk sbin autoinstaller --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --install-component php5.6​

And we can not choose another PHP version. There is only 5.3.3 OS by Vendor.

please be aware, that CentOS 5 is not supported, as you can read as well at Plesk KB - article 125146 :

How can I use multiple PHP versions in Plesk 12.0 and in Plesk 12.5?

Now, with Plesk 12.0 and Plesk 12.5, you can install and use multiple PHP 5.x versions built by the Plesk team via Plesk panel, without any additional third-party repositories or building PHP from sources by yourself!

Plesk PHP packages do not conflict with or replace other PHP packages, so you can continue using your current PHP builds or third-party PHP packages.

PHP packages from the Plesk team are available on:

Plesk 12: CentOS 6, CentOS 7, and Ubuntu 12

Plesk 12.5: Ubuntu 12,14, Debian 7,8 and CentOS/RHEL 6, 7 operating systems.

Additional note:

IF you are an experienced linux server administrator ( and ONLY if this is the case!!! ), you could still try the optinal string "--override-os-version <arg>" ( where <arg> has to be the desired 6.7 or 7.2 version, when you use CentOS ) in your autoinstaller - command, so that you can install the additional PHP - versions 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 and 7.0. Please be aware, that you will not get any support or help to solve possible issues, because this override - procedure can cause issues/problems/errors, which you should solve on your own.


Possible commands would loook like this then:

plesk sbin autoinstaller --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --override-os-version 6.7 --install-component php5.4
plesk sbin autoinstaller --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --override-os-version 6.7 --install-component php5.5
plesk sbin autoinstaller --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --override-os-version 6.7 --install-component php5.6
plesk sbin autoinstaller --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --override-os-version 6.7 --install-component php7.0

i did this laready

but i need also from shell compose somethings than it's use php 5.4 and give errors because php 5.4 doenst permit to use class syntax
