• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 12 has big problems with email and POSTFIX

Vito DonatoC

New Pleskian
Hi! It's time to fix issues with postfix in Plesk 12.x. Our production servers (and so our customers) have many problems with email. This is not acceptable.
The Parallels team should definitely fix the bug.

The issue is related to "localhost" helo. PHP mail() and other non_smtpd services use "localhost" as HELO string. Plesk 12.x f blocks messages presented with localhost helo. We had to skip non_smtpd_milters in main.cf of postifx, in order to let the messages to be sent. But this workaround excludes psa-pc-remote from milters skipping all plesk filters (including DomainKey signature) in the server-side generated mails, causing them to be marked as spam without domainkey.

Thank you very much.
