  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 12 Subdomain Change IP Address

New Pleskian
Hi Team,

I am using plesk panel 12.05

I created the domain and ı creted two subdomains.

I have a SSL sertificate for two subdomains.

But, I changed the IP address for a subdomain , all the changes domain IP addresses.

I want to change IP address a subdomain. (each one)

How to change IP address each one?

I changed IP address over IIS, but plesk changed default IP address.

Please any idea?

how to different IP address subdomain in plesk panel?

You can't, you can only change it for the top level domain of a subscription. Only other way is to manually creating the sub domain entry on the server and then going into plesk to add an A record of the subdomain to point to the the IP address in question

ok thank you for feed back.

I changed the manualy IP address, installed ssl certificate but plesk panel changed the IP address automatically at after a certain time.

How can I prevent it

Thanks Scsa20

Like I said, only way around that is to manually create it in IIS Manager and adding the SSL cert that way, not through the control panel. This means you will need to remove the sub domain from the control panel, log into the server and manually recreate the info and path in IIS Manager.
