• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 12 Wordpress toolkit niggling issues

aremdee

Basic Pleskian
Have a few Wordpress installs on the server and I know there is an issue with Wordpress in subdomains showing in the toolkit, but I still have Wordpress installed the root directories of domains that won't show up in toolkit other than \httpdocs. When I go in I find that the there is an error of "Unable to read or execute files from the WordPress root directory."

Upon checking the subscriptions I find that I can't read the directory in plesk so I run ">repair.exe --repair-webspace-security -webspace-name domainname" through command prompt on the server and it fixes the permission issue in Plesk but a rescan still won't show the Wordpress install nor allow me to update via the toolkit.

Just wondering if this is a known issue or something unique to our server?

Thanks
Roger

Actually can I add a bit more info. One particular install has the error message below. I've fixed permissions so that's not the problem.

Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php
file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at DB_HOST
. This could mean your host's database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?

Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?

Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

"} PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '?' in C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\wp-cli\php\wp-cli.php(23) : eval()'d code on line 1

The site works ok though so am unsure what the error message is all about.

Thanks again
Roger

No and have had no input from Parallels, Odin or whatever name they choose to use. I have actually rebuilt the site in question but it still has the same error message so don't have clue as to what is causing it. If you find a solution can you let me know please?
