• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 9.3 licence will work to plesk 10?

jcgalvez

Basic Pleskian
I have a "dedicated server" rented and included Plesk 9.3 licence, I upgraded to 9.5.2 then 9.5.3 with no problem, my question is the same licence will be fine to use with Plesk 10? or now I have to buy a separate licence?

As per the website, seems like Parallels is selling plesk 9.x & 10 licences (backwards/forward compatibility)

Please clarify me this question

Thank you a lot

Javier

If you have SUS, license will be updated automatically during upgrade procedure. If you haven't SUS - contact your sales representative.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but I'm now in this scenario.

My Plesk licence is leased through my hosting company - they have informed me that I can upgrade to v10 no problem.

Just to be doubly sure, how can I tell if my licence is an SUS one?

Will there be something in the Licence page of the panel to indicate this?

Could I even PM you the licence number for you to verify Igor?

Hope you can help...
