  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 9.5.3 - php-cgi - how to disable 'magic_quotes_gpc ' on a per domain basis ?

New Pleskian
hi

I know you can disable it with the apache module by uploading a vhost.conf to /var/www/vhost/domain.com/conf.

I know you can disable it globally at

/etc/php5/cgi/php.ini

- Is it possible to disable it on a per domain basis using the cgi module

/var/www/vhost/domain.com/conf - has no effect in cgi mode as far as I can see.

Cheers!

You can try setting some php values in the httpd.conf file

Example (httpd.conf):

[VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80]
DocumentRoot /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/
[....]
php_admin_value magic_quotes_gpc 0
[/VirtualHost]

You can also look at this KB from parallels on how to get a seperate php.ini file per domain so you can configure each domain how you want
