  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Plesk automatically uninstalls global node packages

Flind22

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.15.0 x86_64)
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.46 Update Nr. 1
Hello,

on my server runs a tool, that requires a global node package (pm2).
It happend now the second time, that this global package was removed automaticly.
No manual update happens, no server restart, it just got removed.
The last time was yesterday at 04:58:09pm Servertime.
A second ago it was running smooth, and then Module not found errors: '/opt/plesk/node/16/lib/node_modules/pm2/lib/ProcessContainerFork.js'

All automatic updates are disabled, but not safe updates for system packages
So I think its somehow related to this.
But how do i prevent it from happening again?

Thanks.
