Question Plesk dist-upgrade removes resolv.conf

Christopher

New Pleskian
Hi,
i would upgrade my OS from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04. But after the first '/opt/psa/bin/distupgrade.helper.ubt14-ubt16.x64.sh' call the resolv.conf is empty and so the second call can not install plesk from autoinstall.plesk.com. (Couldn't resolve host 'autoinstall.plesk.com', retry...)

What can I do? I have no idea what's wrong.

Christopher

Hi Christopher,

I never experienced that Plesk removed the content of "/etc/resolv.conf" in case of updates/upgrades/patches, but if you experience issues as described, pls. consider to insert for example the standart recommendation:
Code:
nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

options rotate
options timeout:3
... and continue with the upgrade procedure.
