• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk failing to create email account

WesleyG

New Pleskian
This is a brand new server, which we have 17 others with the exact same setup and versions, with:
Windows Server 2008 R2
Plesk 11.5
Smartermail (local)
MailEnable is NOT installed (and verified through Plesk upgrade system)

When I try to create a domain I get the following:
Invalid class string (COM Error 800401F3)
at Can't CreateInstance(MEAOPO.PostOffice)
at (DispatchHelper::CreateInstance line 40)
at execute console command --add-domain(vconsoleapp::start line 97)
at execute "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\mailmng.exe" --add-domain "--domain-name=secure6.win.xxx.com" "--disk-quota=-1" "--total-disk-quota=-1"(vconsoleapp::run line 107)
Execute file name: C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\mailmng.exe

I have verified that the domain does not exist in Smartermail

I have also verified that Smartermail is properly setup in Plesk components

Ideas???

I see other forum posts saying make sure domain doesn't exist, so not sure where to go from here.

Thanks!

All figured out. IPs were listed in Plesk, but they were not in smartermail. Add to smartermail, and good to go.
