  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Plesk Let's Encrypt with Cloud/Web Acceleration

PeteSDG

Basic Pleskian
Hi all,

I've been trying to find out what method of Validation the Let's Encrypt extension/component of Plesk uses but haven't had much luck.

We have some clients that use Web Acceleration/Caching and the DNS points to that servers IP which then loads the site from our servers.

Is it already possible to automatically validate/issue with the above setup where the DNS points to a different server other than the one it's hosted on or can the validation method be changed?

I found a similar post for Unix Resolved - WWW, HTTPS, and Cloudflare but the only response in a way of an answer was two links to Let's Encrypt and Cloudflare with a bunch of commands for certbot and not applicable.
