• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Plesk/Mail server content doesn't match with webmail

dvl

New Pleskian
Plesk/Mail server content doesn't match with webmail. For our of our domains (user) number of emails on server and number of emails that can be seen via webmail doesn't match.
Webmail show too many emails more than on server and all webmail content can be opened. Did someone had similar situation or some explenation? Thanks!

Is it thinkable that some of the mails are sorted into subfolders so that you can see only a part of your mails when you look into one folder on your disk?

No, that's not the case here. For example, on server we have emails from the end of 2021 and later, meanwhile when I log to webmail of this specific user I see emails from 2020. I can open them and when I do that, while using GetWebsiteIP extension for Firefox I see public address of our server. How is this possible, I can not understand. There is no some subfolder when thees emails are hidden. In any case thank you Peter for your time to respond me. Best regards!
