• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk Major Issue After Upgrade to Mailenable Professional

Regular Pleskian
Hi

Since upgrading to Mailenable from Standard to Professional we getting the following issue randomly when customers try to update passwords or create new accounts:

Error: mailmng failed: MEAOAU.Login.AddLogin failed for name=info and domain
at (MailEnable::MailEnableMailName::password line 409)
at execute console command --set-password(vconsoleapp::start line 100)
at execute "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\mailmng.exe" --set-password "--domain-name=" "--mailname=info" "--password=*"(vconsoleapp::run line 117)
(Error code 1)

We then have to run the following everytime to get it to work again properly but it takes down customers emails for a few minutes as it regenerates the AUTH.tab file:

"%plesk_bin%\mchk.exe" --all --fix=all

Now nothing of password security is checked at all as per:

https://kb.plesk.com/en/115175

Password complexity is completely controlled by Plesk and not mailenable.

Please assist urgently in some solution to this.
