• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk Migration Manager: PHP safe_mode settings for domains not migrated

breun

Golden Pleskian
We have recently migrated multiple servers from Plesk 9.5.4 to new servers running Plesk 10.4.4. The PHP safe_mode settings for the migrated domains were not transfered to the new servers, so we had to set PHP safe_mode for the domains again on the new servers. This sounds like a bug in the Plesk Migration Manager.

The latest migration we did was from a server running Plesk 9.5.4 (latest current micro update) on CentOS 4 to a server running Plesk 10.4.4 MU#20 on CentOS 6. We have also seen this problem when migrating from servers running Plesk 9.5.4 on CentOS 5.

Hello, breun. Thanks for reporting.

The issue has been confirmed by the Service team. Will be fixed in one of upcoming updates.
