Plesk not creating mail accounts

Can't get the mail to work to create or delete I get the following error

Domain id is undefined

In the event viewer under system I see the following errors

Time:12:37pm on 10/27/07 Application popup: mailmng.exe - Application Error :

It appears if I change the
Mailenable v3.0 Enterprise from using MySQL to either SQL or TAB files the Plesk issue for
mailmng.exe is no more. If I try to use MySQL the error continues.

Is there an error in the script that pleak uses for mailmng.exe


This also prevented me form creating domains.

Then you should alert people to this expecially when my hosting company Liquid Web keeps trying to get a response on this issue. Can you alert me to when the fix is available?

Gentlemen,

We have investigated this issue and have found out the following.

Access violation appears in myodbc3.dll which is used by MEAIPODB.dll. It occurs during calling ExitProcess. Really domain is created in MailEnable.

This is Profiling log from depends.exe:

Seems this is a bug in MailEnable. We will contact with them.

Just following up on this as I have not heard anything from you guys. I did hear from mailenable here is there response. see thread

The cause of the problem is most likely that COM has not been gracefully shut down, and dependant libraries are therefore unloading in a random matter, and the ODBC MyODBC library is failing because some of its resources have been shut down prematurely.
We are trialing a fix that is in 3.04 - but we are waiting to hear back from plesk as to whether it overcomes the problem.

We have also suggested that Plesk investigate the cause of the problem from their end since it seems that COM is not being gracefully shutdown.
If Plesk advises that the workaround we have provided fixes the problem, then we will publish accordingly.

It will be fixed in MailEnable 3.05. Now it is in beta testing.

Gentlemen,

MailEnable 3.1 is released.
The issue is not reproduced with this version in our lab.
