• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk Panel falis PCI. Need a way to redirect to a single domain

deltatech

Regular Pleskian
I have an SSL certificate on the primary domain for the plesk panel and have secured the panel with it. The problem is that when going to another domain on the same server https://somedomain.com:8443 that domain isn't the one that was secured with the certificate.

Comodo and other scanners when scanning my clients web sites will discover port 8443 and attempt to access it using the client's domain name. This causes certificate issues and PCI failure.

How can I redirect everything to the proper domain name when accessing plesk panel?

I have attempted to place a .htaccess file in /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/.htaccess but it ignores it.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing, it would be nice to to know how to do this.

Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS
Plesk 11.5.30 #32
