• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk Panel not available anymore

Maria1

New Pleskian
After having some issues with my server mail program i read an article online where i though removing psa-courier-imap will resolve my mail problems.
Now nor my email is working but also i lost my plesk panel. Going to plesk ip address there's nothing anymore.
Checked my server and is printing i have plesk 11.0.9 installed but is nowhere to find. I try to install psa-courier-imap again but yum cant find it.

Everything working on the server including all sites are available on the web.
The only think i'm missing is the Plesk login page.

I wonder if you guys can give me some clues how to solve this issue without losing any data or sites on the server.

Any help will be great.

Thank you.

Try to run

# /usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp11.0.9-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair

If you have this file.

Run it and got this: (Don't really know what to do)

Thank you for your time and help!

cannot access `/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/wrapper': No such file or directory

This file is a part of core Plesk package. Looks like that Plesk is completely broken and many important files are missing. I can only recommend to create a request to support team to do in-depth investigation to find the reason and to fix it. Please create a ticket to support at https://odin.com/hcap/support/request/ .
You may have free support, please check what kind of Plesk license you use for available support options at http://kb.odin.com/en/121580 .
If there’s no free support in your case, you can order Plesk per-incident support at http://odin.com/hcap/support/buy-support/. Support team will contact you as soon as purchase is processed, and they will do the best to resolve it.

Thanks for all your help IgorG.
I'm waiting for a response from my server hosting company. If they can't do anything, i'll file a report as you advice above.

Again, thank you for time and help to this issue!

Best regards,
Maria

Hello Maria,
How about upgrading your plesk to 12. Shouldn't this naturally solve your problem ...

Hi Abdi,

I'm not sure if i can do this as everything is broken atm. I don't want to lose my data on the server.
However, my hosting company is looking at it now. I post updates once i know more.

Thank you!

Maria.

Hello Maria,

As a precaution also, its important that before doing anything in such situations to backup your server + copying the backup(s) away from it to another server (If you haven't already done this)

Just in-case your disc sectors get messed up ..

I need to open a support ticket but i can't find what kind of license i got for Plesk.
Anyone can help me where to login and find out these information?

Thank you,
Maria.

I managed to update to latest ver. of plesk. Looks like all working fine but all of the domains showing the default plesk page when accessed by http.
I thought a good idea is to remove and re-create a domain with the new PLESK but i get the same results!
All DNS are set right but i can't figure out what's going on.

Any ideas how to fis this issue please?

Thank you,
Maria.

I read an article in here about this issue. I did the following steps:

# /usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp12.0.18-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair ===> OK (No errors at all)
# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all ===> OK (No errors at all)
# service nginx restart ===> OK

I still have the default plesk page on all domains! :(

Thank you,
Maria.

I got this in my error_log file:

[Thu Feb 12 13:50:04 2015] [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `Parallels Panel' does NOT match server name!?

Hello Maria,
What do you get when you run the command below on SHELL:

Code:
grep "conf.d" /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

[root@VDS037 ~]# # cd /grep "conf.d" /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
[root@VDS037 ~]# -bash: cd: /grep: No such file or directory
-bash: -bash:: command not found

:(

Sorry, here's the right one.

[root@VDS037 ~]# grep "conf.d" /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
# Load config files from the config directory "/etc/httpd/conf.d".
Include conf.d/*.conf
[root@VDS037 ~]#

Maria,

Normally the cause of domain names not resolving despite running the vhost re-generator & bootstrapper could be the missing connection between Apache and Plesk. (I have noticed this with a few clients who upgraded there systems manually)

Such an issue would have to investigated with eyes on the server ...
