• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PleskMainDBException issue

SigveR

New Pleskian
Hi.

I can't access my Plesk panel because of the following error:

Code:
ERROR: PleskMainDBException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
(db.php:435)

Search for related Knowledge Base articles

I clicked the link at the bottom that referred me to the knowledge base, but I can't figure out how to complete the provided steps.

For example "Resolution: Start the "Plesk SQL Server"". How do i start the Plesk SQL Server..?

I also tried to use the Plesk Reconfigurator, but the following message applies: "Can't connect to database on localhost(0)".

Any ideas..?

Just click on "Parallels Plesk Panel Service Monitor" icon in Windows Tray (near clock in right-down corner), select "Plesk SQL Server" and click Start button.

Hm.. I did and got this error message: "The process terminated unexpectedly Error code 1067. "

Looks like something wrong with SQL server. Contact Support Team if you can't troubleshoot it by yourself.

I´m experiencing today exactly the same problem. Any help?
