• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

[PMT-2639] Migration error in Plesk Migrator 1.8.4

IguanaJoe

New Pleskian
Hello,

we get in the Plesk Migrator 1.8.4 when attempting a migration following error "You can not manage resellers due to license restrictions." from that point stops the migration.

On the source and destination servers Plesk Web Pro is stored as a license. Resellers are not used in both systems.

Has a change to the license provisions arise or is it a bug?

I have a translator used because my English is not the best, therefore I ask. Sorry for a possibly dirty text

Thanks for your reply.

But as i wrote before, the licences are identical on both servers and i need to transfer the whole Customer Account with mail, database and webspace.

I know how to migrate everything manual over shell/ssh. But the account information like the login for plesk and mail accounts are the problem.

Hello,

Thank you for the provided feedback.

The software issue has been confirmed. It will be fixed as soon as possible.

Thanks.
