  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Postfix: how I set outgoing IP address

SilentWarrior

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I found no way to set the outgoing address for emails. Plesk is configured with more then one IP.
I like to send all emails from one IP (because this have a FQDN) and I should change the Helo message to the FQDN.

Can I just edit the main.cf of Postfix or will Plesk overwrite this changes ?

Thank you

Yes, I read that already.

But I'm confused about the meaning of "independently install Postfix"
Atm I use the postfix installed by plesk. So I ask me what's happen if I do this command.

All should work for you if all mentioned conditions are satisfied.
