  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Postgresql component install

Mat LB

New Pleskian
Hi,

I've installed the postgresql component on plesk via the auto installer (as described here : https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...o-install-and-initialize-PostgreSQL-in-Plesk-), but I can't manage to configure it once installed :
when I go on the "Local PostgreSQL server" page (Tools & Settings > Database Servers > PostgreSQL) I'm asked to enter administrator credentials, but all of my attempts show this error :

Internal error: ERROR: unrecognized role option "createuser" LINE 1: create user "user" password 'xxxxxxx' createdb createuser ^
error thrown by DatabaseManagerPostgreSQL.php on line 360.

So how can I set these credentials ?

Thanks in advance for all users who could help me !

Plesk version is Plesk Onyx v17.0.17_build1700161028.14 os_Debian 8.0
Postgresql 9.6

Hi Igor,

I didn't see that plesk Onyx doesn't support PostgreSQL 9.6 yet. I'm quite suprised of that as the plesk installer doesn't let us any choice of version for PostgreSQL install so I thought that it would be the more recent supported by the current Plesk Version.

Anyway I suppose that the only option is to install PostgreSQL 9.5 by myself.

Thank you !
