  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

problem with ftpmng.exe and deleting exist hosting account

igoldman

Regular Pleskian
I encounter an issue with deleting a domain name (hosting account).
the domain name address is: shtoot.com

what I figure out is that when I run the following:

"%plesk_bin%\ftpmng.exe" --reconfigure-vhost --vhost-name=domain.com

then the process is running and keep running without end.

I run the following commands without any problem:

"%plesk_bin%\reconfigurator.exe /check-permissions=domain.com

"%plesk_bin%\websrvmng" --update-all-server-id

"%plesk_bin%\websrvmng.exe" --remove-vhost --vhost-name=domain.com

"%plesk_bin%\websrvmng.exe" --reconfigure-vhost --vhost-name=domain.com

"%plesk_bin%\ftpmng.exe" --remove-vhost --vhost-name=domain.com

so the problem is only with the following command:

"%plesk_bin%\ftpmng.exe" --reconfigure-vhost --vhost-name=domain.com

Pay Attention:
Plesk Debug is Enabled BUT doesn't reveal any thing regarding the issue.

please advice hot to fix the issue ?

thanks

I see that there is no response

So I did my own deep investigation , what I have found ?

I have found a new bug inside Plesk 8.1 for windows which related to ftpmng.exe

I found that depite the fact that I specify in the ftpmng.exe argument domain.com

still ftpmng.exe is running on all domains/hosting accounts and try to repair each domain which exist in Plesk CP.

it's absolutely BUG !!!

I dont understand , where are the developers of SWsoft ?

Only money they know to take , what about QA (Quality Assurance) ?

absolutely , SWsoft doesn't make ANY QA for PLESK !!!
