  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Problem with Horde Webmail

AbsurdCardigan

New Pleskian
I have Plesk Onyx on ‪Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2‬
and am unable to access Horde webmail on any domain. The error that appears in my logs is :-

EMERG: HORDE Call to undefined function textdomain() [pid 24724 on line 63 of "D:\Plesk\Webmail\horde\pear\pear\Horde\Registry\Registryconfig.php"]

This is a new server so everything is pretty much default.

Any ideas how to fix this would be gratefully received.

Looks like that PHP gettext module is not loaded for some reasons. Check in Horde php.ini file %plesk_dir%\Webmail\horde\conf\php.ini that following lines exists:

[php_gettext]
extension=php_gettext.dll

Thanks IgorG.

I checked php.ini as suggested however the gettext module was in there.

I managed to get this working by changing the version of PHP it was using to this:-
"D:\Plesk\Additional\PleskPHP54\ext"
Rather than the latest version that was already in there.
