• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Problem with IP address from IP change

MSU-CNS

New Pleskian
We have been changing our DNS over the last few months of each site. We have all the site ip's change and now I need to remove the old IP but Plesk will not allow me to. It says it's in use but I can find any site using the old IP. I have some site that don't work because it trying to access the old IP when a site wants to talk with MySQL. When the Server Overview says the IP it's the old one. How do I change this IP?

My Server Overview
IP address 35.8.201.207
OS Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1

Try to find relation between IP address and domains in 'hosting' table of psa database (ip_address_id and dom_id fields). Tables 'domains' and 'IP_Addresses' will help with it.

check psa database for ips and hosting tables. It will give idea if old ip is assigned to any domain.
