  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

I am trying to install sb2 and am having HUGE problems.
I went through the rpm install with all the dependancy issues. got that resolved.
however on the dns step, what do I put in my dns redirect? where did sb2 get isntalled to redirect to?

once I get the dns stuff working, what do I do then?

the "manual" is pretty vague.

Thanks for any help

Sean

I am new and I have the same problem
and resolve this with this step

1. I go to my plesk panel
2. I select my domain name
3. From my service menu I select DNS zone
4. Add a DNS record
a. Record type = A
5. Restoring the DNS zone by the template
a. IP address = your IP number
b. www prefix = check mark
6. DNS records
a. sitebuilder/highland-consulting.net
7. press ADD button

Thanks for the response and I neglected to say this but I am using cpanel on a linux box.

Thanks

Sean

Is only DNS problem.? or sitebuilder is not installed

I installed it with the no dependendancies option but that is as far as I got. I need to do the dns part and then configure. but I am not sure how to do either as the instructions are vague.
