  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Problem with Wordpress installation!

New Pleskian
Hi everyone.
I have a problem with WP installation on Plesk 11.5.
I accidentally installed WP on the server 3 times (browser froze, repeatedly press the install button) using express install the two first times and then manual install the third time. After the installation I checked the root folder through FTP and saw 3 wordpress folders. I uninstalled the 2 of them using PLESK. I tried to connect using .../wp-admin and wp-admin/install.php but nothing happened.
I then uninstalled the last wordpress installed and manually uploaded the wordpress files with FTP under httpdocs. But the .../wp-admin and wp-admin/install.php still wasn't working.
I may also deleted some files in httpdocs because they were overwritten by other wordpress files.
So I have made a pretty mess in there.
The question is. Is there a way I can reset the files in root folders as they were before I installed anything?
Or can anyone explain me how I will install wordpress?
I also administrating on another wordpress site using PLESK 10.4.4 and I had no problem there. The interface is mush more simpler.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

I can see the both links are showing identical site. Can you please try to your browser cache and try again? Or try to reload the DNS zone for the particular domain.

Hi.
I tried to set the DNS servers for the domain name and managed to access the WP admin panel.
I can now work the site but only through the preview from the parallels panel.
If I try to type http://boukisautoparts.gr/wp-admin nothing happens but I can work through http://boukisautoparts.gr.144-76-99-45.win25.papaki.gr/wp-admin.
The problem now is that if you access the site through the browser (typing boukisautoparts.gr) and press to go to any page, the link transforms again to boukisautoparts.gr.144-76-99-45.win25.papaki.gr/contactus

Why is this happening?
