  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

I am not sure if I really understand how the reseller overselling is suposed to work.

example:
Domains
5 used of 15
Subdomains
0 used of 15
Domain aliases

Disk space
344 MB used of 4 GB
Traffic
262.3 MB/month used of 16 GB/month
Additional FTP accounts

you would say that this example reseller is not overusing anything or isn't overselling anything...

yet, when i switch from "allow overselling" to "not allow overselling" in the reseller plan, i start getting errors that this reseller can't be synced because the resources aren't right...

anyone got a clue what this might be?

Overselling is when one sales more than is allocated to them. In your example, your reseller could advertise "Unlimited databases" when in actual sense he's only allocated 15 DBs.

The reseller can't be synced error means the reseller has already used or assigned some resources more than allocated! (In other-wards he has over-sold)

Abdi, none of that is my problem. My problem is I have a reseller with some resources assigned, he is currently using LESS and I still get errors if I disable overselling

I don't want my resellers to oversell.

If I assign him 15 domains (to just name one resource) and he only has 5, why on earth do I get errors when I switch to "overselling NOT allowed"?

Your reseller does not need to have used the resources to get that error. Rather if he "assigned" unlimited or more than allocated resources (regardless of weather they have been used or not) you would still get that error ..

but the thing is, he didnt even assign those resources. unless there is some resource that is not showed on the control panel.

if there would be a way to see exactly on which resource i am getting this message, then i could check what it is... but i only get the error message without saying which resource is the affected one.
