  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

proftpd auth logging to email

shall

Regular Pleskian
I would like to configure proftpd so that it will immediately send an email (with the FTP account name and client IP) everytime someone successfully logs into FTP. Does anyone have a clue how to do this?

I've got it working fine for G6FTP on our Windows servers, but I don't see a method for scripting the events within proftpd, and the only logging appears to be to file.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

If this isn't possible, is there another way we can do this (like using a different FTP server)?
