• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

ProFTPD - hide hidden files

KamilL

New Pleskian
Hello,
I created a user on my machine which has a home directory in /home/.... In order to be able to connect over ftp I simply added the user to the psacln group. Connecting over FTP I don't want the user to see hidden files and folders.

After:
<Directory /var/www/vhosts>
GroupOwner psacln
</Directory>

I added:
<Directory /home/*>
GroupOwner psacln
ListOptions "-A" strict
</Directory>

But it just doesn't work. I still see the hidden files. I also tried adding (into the directory block)

<Limit ALL>
IgnoreHidden on
</Limit>

and it didn't help. Can anyone help me on this?

Googled & tried

Edit: HideFiles ^\..* worked. I got no idea why it didn't work before.
