  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

proftpd:session ntml

Gorlist

Basic Pleskian
Good day, question of slight concern, recently in the logs theirs been allot of sessions open and closed on the proftpd under the user of "ntml", which shouldn't/doesn't exist. Each attempt is from a different IP address location.

Any suggestions on what it could be, and how best to block this?

Seems it was hacker's attack on your Proftpd server. Make sure that you have installed latest version of Plesk with updated proftpd package.
There are no any special related to Plesk recommendation - usual anti-hackers solution can be suggested.
