  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Qmail and Plesk 11

New Pleskian
Hi guys,

We're running Centos 5.9 with Plesk 11 and Qmail - we have weird issues with the qmail-queue processes using up 100% cpu frequently which pushes the load of our server between 5 and 10. I've been trying to troubleshoot the issue for ages - the qmail queue only has 28 messages in it (a few undeliverable ones that are stagnant).. I've tried reinstalling Qmail using the Plesk Autoinstaller but still have no luck. A google search only brought up qmail issues with the qmail-imap commands and nothing on the qmail-queue using high cpu. Sometimes 5 of them will be all using 100% cpu and it'll take around 3 minutes to navigate between pages on Plesk.

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
13626 qmailq 25 0 6244 1708 1264 R 99.5 0.0 0:25.23 qmail-queue
13805 qmailq 19 0 6292 2144 1620 S 82.2 0.1 0:03.83 qmail-queue

Cheers
