• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi, can anyone help.

I have a random number of messages that get stuck in the qmail queue. Most messages get sent fine but some don't.

There doesnt appear to be any simularity in the mails that get stuck or the addresses they are being sent to.

I have tried cleaing the queue and also restarting qmail but it doesnt sem to help.

Users arent getting any returned email until qmail gives up, then a return comes back with

Sorry, I wasn't able to establish an SMTP connection. (#4.4.1)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.

...sometimes. There is mail in the queue over 3 weeks old for some reason.

How do I restart the entire plesk service? Is there a command for that?

service psa stopall;sleep 3;service psa start

i usually run that "when" i need to restart the full psa related services.

Thanks. thats a good command to know. I ran it, but it seems that these 2 emails just don't want to go out. I know for a fact the email address works.

Can you guys think of any other reason why these certain domains get stuck?
