• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Redirect from http to https wrong hostname

We are experiencing the same issue.

The system is on CentOS 7 in an OpenVZ environment. Updating the hostname via plesk doesnt help at all.

Set FQDN in /etc/hostname directly ,and when it comes to hostname I strongly suggest using anyhost.domain.com as FQDN not www.domain.com......there are two reasons ...first www is used as world wide web CNAME.... FQDN must be hostname and resolve to IP on A/AAAA record , www is set as CNAME/Alias most of the time...if you really want to use www than make sure at least to replace CNAME with A record for www.domain.com... and AAAA if you have IPv6...any way FQDN must resolve to IP adress
And one thing more FQDN can't be naked domain and technically www can be hostname but than CNAME should be deleted and replaced by A/AAAA record/s
