  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Reduced right for Mysqluser since Plesk 12

Thomas Krcal

New Pleskian
Hello

After updating Plesk to 12.5.30, I miss for default the rights

Alter_routine_priv
Execute_priv
Event_priv

when I create a database.

Basicly this was not a problem, because I addet the rights in the table mysql.db and flush privileges.

I only want to know, if this is a Bug or Plesk decide to change the default right for mysqluser in 12.5.30
and if I can create any template for future.

I urgently need this right on various users and databases, so do I have to add it manually in mysql-db always when I create a new database or database user ?

Thanks

Yes, in Plesk 12.5 database user roles were significantly revised. I suppose that it is related to your case.

Ok,

Could I define default roles for creating Database users (or something similar).
Otherwise this means, I always have to change by hand directly inside Database.

Thanks
