Resolved Reinstall ModSecurity

after installing ModSecurity
there is alot of warning and .. in my event log

The description for Event ID 1 from source ModSecurity cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

ModSecurity for IIS (STABLE)/2.9.0 (http://www.modsecurity.org/) configured.

i cant find any option to reinstall ModSecurity,
any way to disable or reinstall it ?


i tried waf section of plesk , and turn off it ... dose not make any change.

Would you mind having a closer look at "Home > Tools & Settings > Updates and Upgrades" ?

In addition, Plesk provides documentations at for example:

=> Documentation and Help Portal for Plesk 12.5

=> Previous Versions of Plesk

A search with the words "remove component" at the above links, would as well display several pages from depending documentations, as for example:

=> Adding and Removing Plesk Components ( Plesk 12.5 - online documentation - Administrator's Guide )​

This package is gray out ,
and it not allow me to uninstall or reinstall

pls. try the following commands:

%plesk_bin%\ai.exe --select-release-current --remove-component modsecurity
%plesk_bin%\ai.exe --select-release-current --install-component modsecurity

OR

plesk installer --select-release-current --remove-component modsecurity
plesk installer --select-release-current --install-component modsecurity

In addition, pls. provide the information, how you previously installed "ModSecurity".
