• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Reinstall Plesk Migration Manager in Linux?

JacksonY

Basic Pleskian
Hey,

How do I reinstall and restart the Plesk Migration Manager in Linux?

I am trying to migrate from one Linux VPS to another Linux one. Even after I disabled the firewall from the source, it is still not working. When I tried to migrate from migration manager, it keep saying "Retrieving information from host xxx... This may take a while, please wait. Cancel" and stuck forever.

I suspect the Plesk migration manager service is not installed/started in the source Linux, which is a Plesk 9.5+.

It is the last time that runs, and stuck afterwards. What could be wrong?

It returns with (on destination log):

Error: launchpad error (error code = 2)
