I've followed all the instructions i've seen till now..

got to Plesk->Server->Mail->
Relaying = authorization is required
with POP3 lock time and SMTP clicked.

Also in the White List I have: 127.0.0.1 / 32

but yet still i connect to the mail server via telnet and and manage to send email from any@any.tld to anyone@anyone.tld withoute any problem!!!!!!!!

with none of any@any.tld or anyone@anyone.tld existing in the server or the rcphosts.

am I doing something wrong?
should it try to authenticate me ?

I removed the POP3 options from Relaying

and now I get: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

so it seems to work just fine!!

I've closed the relay but still I see tons of spam being sent...

is there any wayt to block some domains ?

for example i run : /var/qmail/bin/qmail-qread

and I see:

Is there any way to block aol.com so the server wont sent any emails to that domain ?

As a very temporary thing, you could lookup the IP blocks assigned to AOL (such as 64.12.0.0/16, 205.188.0.0/16) and block connection to those in the firewall.

But the real problem is that you need to find and fix the source of the problem either on your server or on your client's PC.

Then after it's all cleaned up and working properly again, you better check to make sure your server has not been blacklisted.

You should not ever use POP3 with timeout in the relay section.
