• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Remote backup solution for plesk

Hello and thanks for you're reply, the problem with ftp storage is that end-users can't restore it :(

If I put local backup the users see the backups and can restore them, if I choose ftp they can not.

Thank you!

The clients can create their own scheduled backups to a remote FTP storage space and can restore data from there, too. The maximum work to invest for you is to create the setup for them.

Hello,

Thank you, but if we offer shared hosting, It is a laborious task to manually enter this configuration that the users themselves can break.

If local backups are used, end users can restore them.

The problem is that I can not find any way to do this. Save external copies and that my end users can restore themselves.

With the panel we currently use, there are many commercial solutions that do.

With Plesk I have only found Acronis that is not yet available and is excessively expensive.

Thank you
