• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

@Kaspar@Plesk Thanks again for the previous confirmations. We've pretty much concluded all of the manual "clean-up" exercises, on all servers, which has been worthwhile, in terms of reclaimed server space / functionality etc. These last two items, we're very sure can also be removed, but wanted to double-check first. Assuming the feature suggestion (see post #1) gets enough votes & is then actioned by Plesk, then once implemented, this will be a much welcomed addition!

I am assume those can be removed too, but to be on the safe side I'd recommend removing them first on a test server.
FWIW Everything was were fine, once they were removed. It was the same, once all of the old / unused other Plesk files / packages were removed too. It's a pain staking, 'Sherlock Holmes' type assignment, based around dependencies, when doing it manually like this, but it's very much dependent on how long you've used Plesk Obsidian for... So automation might not (yet) be of interest to any new-ish Plesk users. Let's wait and see.
Edit This thread can be resolved. Thx
