  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Remove Applications Completely

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

How would I totally remove the Applications from all views.
I would like to remove the Applications Tab & Application list from the dashboard.

Hi Mark,

I know a way to not offer any apps: go to Service Plans and select the plan you'd like to modify, head over to applications and tick the box that days "Provide only applications that I select". Select nothing and hit Update & Sync. Voila - no more applications to choose from.

The actual Applications Tab is still there though but applications can no longer be installed.

Hope this helps ;-)

Thanks Jay,

I have already gone with that option, but would prefer to remove the APPLICATIONS TAB completely.
Having the Tab visible, with no options just opens the door for clients to ask questions.

If its out of sight, it's out of mind!!
