Remove "start" section

I do not want my users to choose a site family. I wish to disable the "start" section that precedes "design". Currently the option of changing the site families does not work for me, as I am using HSPcomplete, and there is a syncronization issue where everytime it syncronizes with sitebuilder, it resets my sitefamilies to the default (which has nothing to do with my business model).
