• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Require SSL (and Virtual Directories) Plesk 10.x

Hello,

Because of requirements of my customer, I need to have the functionality to allow SSL connections only for certain domains which are added in Plesk 10.x. In the documentation I read about the 'Require SSL' option which could be changes using Virtual Directories;

"Go to the Websites & Domains tab > Virtual Directories (in the Advanced Operations group)." -> "Require SSL - select this checkbox to enable access to the folder only via SSL-encrypted connections.".

Unfortunately I can't find the Virtual Directories option in the Advanced Operations sub menu. Is there some server configuration which I have to change to enable this option? And if not, how can I add SSL only VirtualHosts?

Thank you for your answer in advance.

Virtual Directories as Hosting Feature is available only for Windows hosting.

Hi Igor,

Does this mean it's not possible to restrict a VirtualHost to only use SSL? See my second question.
