  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

restore backup mail data, account restored but no data

Hi,

I just migrate from Plesk Panel 9 to 11
I backup my mails and content in Plesk Panel 9 with the backup utilities
download the file and upload to Plesk Panel 11
and check the "mail" checkbox to restore the mails

all mail accounts are created after the restore process, but all mail accounts are empty

any idea?

Hello!

Sorry for late response.

First of all check that your backup archive contains mail content. it placed inside in file <backup_name>_domainmail_<stamp>.zip, for every mailaccount should be folder with messages inside.

Second I think the better way is try to make the same through Migration Manager. It has option "Transfer only mail configuration and content" see attachments.
